Breakfast is solid with plenty of options. The neighborhood feels sketchy after dark and there were issues with noise from traffic.

Breakfast was excellent with a decent variety, but the area felt a bit unsafe at times, especially at night.

All was perfect.

Our visit to Hyatt Place near Union Station was pleasant. The location offered easy access to the Capitol and public transport. The staff was exceptionally supportive, especially during the check-in process.

Great staff and a clean, spacious room made for a decent start. The breakfast was surprisingly good with a hot meal that others don't offer yet. the AC issues were a significant downside; despite changing rooms, we faced another malfunction on a sweltering night. The valet service was frustrating, with a rude attendant and long wait times. Missing amenities like shampoo and unprepared bedding added to the disappointment. The experience had some high points, but certainly left me questioning if I would return.

The staff here is friendly and responsive. The breakfast crew shines with their attention and kindness while ensuring the food never runs out.
The place definitely needs a good scrub and some coordination at the front desk.

The bed was moderately comfortable, but the room had poor noise insulation, making for a restless night. Temperature control was inconsistent, leading to discomfort. The blinds were not opaque, causing issues with privacy and light. The cleanliness left much to be desired; the air conditioner filter was caked in dust, and the toilet incident was unfortunate. The staff varied in helpfulness, with some being friendly and accommodating, while others at the front desk seemed indifferent. Multiple maintenance issues detracted from the overall comfort, indicating a need for immediate refurbishment.

The location was perfect for sightseeing, so close to all the main attractions! The staff were helpful, always ready to assist with a smile.
It wasn’t cheap, but the quality makes it understandable.

I arrived to find my reservation inexplicably missing. After being checked into an already occupied room and switching twice, the rude staff made me feel like a bother. It was frustrating and left a sour taste for the whole trip.

Wi-fi was good, but check-in took forever and rooms need maintenance.

The hotel is just a short walk away from many interesting spots like the National Air and Space Museum and the National Gallery of Art, making it ideal for exploring Washington, and after a day of sightseeing, you'll appreciate the comfortable beds and the nice vibe throughout the property but the the hotel could use some updates in the linens and towels for a better overall experience.

I felt so cultured after visiting the National Museum of African American History and Culture. The outdoor pool and terrace bar set a posh vibe. The hot, and, cold breakfast at the on, site restaurant was a real treat.
The dated rooms and street noise were music to my ears.

I loved the spacious, stylish room that was perfect for unwinding after a long trip! The pool was still open, and lounging by it was a blissful treat. Plus, the friendly staff made every moment feel welcoming!

A mixed experience. The hotel offers a great location and spacious rooms. Breakfast? Top-notch—plenty of options, and the chef checks in. Staff kept food hot and replenished. communication and service need serious improvement. We faced significant issues with room availability due to a card misunderstanding. Maintenance issues plagued our stay: an unresponsive phone, no ventilation in the bathroom, and air conditioning failures. I appreciate clean facilities and a vibrant atmosphere. I won't overlook the need for staff training and maintenance upgrades. There’s potential here, but they must address these critical flaws to enhance guest experience.

Let's start with the good stuff, the room itself was pretty comfy and spacious. We had all the essential amenities like ironing facilities, heating, and air conditioning, which were all working well. I also appreciated having tea and coffee facilities in the room, perfect for a quick pick-me-up in the morning. Now, onto the not-so-great parts, the bathroom was a bit of a letdown. The bathtub had a broken drain, and there were no free toiletries provided. I also noticed some issues with cleanliness, like water all over the sink faucet and a dirty bathroom door that came off the track. In terms of services, there were some hiccups too. The valet parking area turned into a bit of a chaotic scene with strangers causing trouble, which made me feel really uneasy. And dealing with staff members was a mixed bag, some were helpful, but others were downright rude, especially during the power outage situation. my experience at Hyatt Place had its ups and downs. While the room was decent and had the basics covered, there were definitely areas that could use some improvement, especially when it comes to cleanliness and staff professionalism. Hope this helps you make an informed decision for your own travels!

During our city trip, we found the location of the hotel to be ideal, making it convenient for exploring popular attractions such as museums and the National Mall easily. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our interactions pleasant and smooth. Additionally, the gym and pool facilities were well-maintained and provided a relaxing environment for unwinding after a day of sightseeing.
The cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel left much to be desired. Housekeeping services were inconsistent, with reports of towels left in hallways for days and rooms not being thoroughly cleaned.

Chilled at Seaport Casino, hitting up the sports book for big games. Super hyped gaming atmosphere in two casinos. The squad had the best time , total vibe!
Wish they had a happening on, site club for wild nights out , that would've been epic! 🎉.

The free hot and cold breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day, and the rooftop swimming pool offered a relaxing retreat.
Check-in and room cleanliness issues.

the hotel is new and clean - with a super comfy king size bed. it's conveniently close to the metro and within walking distance to the white house and the capitol. breakfast was ok, and the staff allowed us to check in our bags before and after checkout. the front office manager - jason garcia - was amazing and genuinely cared about ensuring all guests were satisfied.

Great location near restaurants and supermarket, 20 minutes walk to convention center, delicious breakfast for $14 per stay.
Felt like a VIP, no complaints.

The two casinos, bursting with excitement, kept the whole family entertained with live events and thrilling races throughout our visit.
My wife says that the casino's noise level may be overwhelming for younger children.

Enjoyed the close Metro location and friendly staff during my business trip. The complimentary breakfast was good, and the spacious room with comfortable beds was a plus. The workers at breakfast were efficient and helpful, making the meal enjoyable.
Breakfast was overcrowded, and the lobby tables weren't very clean. There was noise from nearby construction that was disruptive.

Our group of friends had a fantastic time at this hotel. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the spacious bathrooms were a plus. The staff, especially Dean, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Their professionalism and kindness were exceptional. The breakfast selection was also great, and the free Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The location was very close to all the DC activities, making it convenient for exploring the city.
Thin walls were a bit of a downside.
